Who Are They?

Cork was saved and baptized in the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Soest, the Netherlands while serving 4 years in the US Air Force. In January 1974 he entered Baptist Bible College, Springfield, Missouri, graduating from the Missions course in May 1976 later receiving an Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree in May 2006.

Cork returned to pastor Emmanuel Baptist Church in Soest, ministering to 1000 military men and their families in August 1976. The church grew in attendance from 34 to average over 100 each Sunday. After more than 20 years of ministry the drawdown of US military forces in Europe has caused this church to be disbanded.

While ministering to the military, Cork became convinced of God's calling to reach the Dutch for Christ. In May 1979 he was approved as the first Baptist Bible Fellowship missionary to Holland.

Teri, Cork's first wife, passed away in March 1997 after a lengthy illness. Cork was remarried to Miss Ruth Switzer in August, 1998. Ruth, saved and baptized in 1969 in the Calvary Baptist Church of Fair Haven, New York, joined Cork in church planting ministry to the Dutch in 1998. The Albright's have three children by Cork's previous marriage.
