What Have They Done?
Since their arrival in southern Holland (January 1980) the Albright's have learned the language and adapted to the culture. They have established and turned over three New Testament Baptist Churches to the Dutch Christians in the cities of Roermond , Weert and Valkenburg.
Present church activities in all three churches include weekly Bible studies and prayer meetings, weekly Sunday Services, teen meetings, a leadership breakfast, women's meetings, summer Bible Camps and yearly church family conferences. These churches support missionaries and are active in personal and street evangelism. The church in Roermond (organized August 1983), the church in Weert (organized November 1989) and the church in Valkenburg (organized May 1997) have national pastors and are completely self supporting. These churches are presently helping Cork and Ruth to establish another New Testament Baptist Church in the city of Opglabbeek.
That which God has called Cork to do and which churches in America have sent him to do is being accomplished. Together with Ruth, Cork's desire is to continue to follow God's plan for church planting.
In January 2005 Cork, together with colleague missionaries, established and currently administers the International Baptist College Europe (www.corkalbright.com for information).
